It's the first day of fall - my very favorite season! For now I'll ignore the summery weather . . .
Here are some wonderful things I would love to try, cook, bake, or buy this season:
1. Yummy and simple pumpkin soup.
2. Chili. In fact, tomorrow I'll bust out the crock pot and whip up some chili for dinner. I will also broil up some Hebrew Nationals and serve it in the form of chili dogs!
3. Homemade applesauce. I would really love to get into canning, but I don't have all the necessary equipment. For now, I'll stick with freezing it.
5. Pretty mums!
6. Pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks.
7. Finally, how cute are these pumpkins?!

Oh kel, I LOVE pumpkin soup.....I make it allllll the time!!!!!! We'll make it together when we get to see each other!! :) Hebrew nashs.....those are some awesome dogs!!! haha. I love fall too, it is my favorite season for sure, and Im dying to get home to see it, becuase they DO NOT have fall here! summer and winter, and thats about it! hhaha, how sad!
Yes..Mine would be #6 on your list......Only until december when the peppermint mochas come out in the red cup!!!!
Keli, what a perfect post! I too love love LOVE fall ... I may have to pay tribute to this post on my page :) We need to take our girls to Huber's to pick pumpkins -- how fun would that be?!?
if i have a Fall favorite it would probably be the desire to go camping. since i haven't been camping in a number of years i can't really say it's my favorite Fall thing to do. but if i were to go i bet i would really enjoy it!
In the future you'll have to add dressing our children as KISS for Halloween! We just need two more...
You should also try the pumpkin ice cream from Pie Kitchen! Yum!
I LOVE FALL as well! My favorite things are opening up my windows, decorating with fake leaves, pumpkins, anything crafty/primative, I love shopping for pumpkins and then arranging them, eating mellow cream pumpkins, bon fires, watching piper run as fast as he can through the leaves just to make a bunch of noise, pretty much if its fall related I love it!
I do not love all of the sick people who come out of the wood work during the fall though. It always makes for a busy night in the ER!
