Caleb and I went to a Louisville Bats game last Tuesday night. I have decided that I LOVE minor league baseball! The players are good, the tickets are super cheap (we sat in the front row along the third-base line! Caleb SO almost caught a foul ball!), and the ballpark promotions are really fun. Tuesday night games feature $1 hot dogs and sodas! Mmmmm!
It was quite chilly, but we had fun! Caleb caught a baseball w/ the Bats logo. (They were thrown out to the crowd between innings). And we saw a cute old man and little boy asking Ted Power (pitching coach) for his autograph! And when a giant purple bat rides around the field on a 4-wheeler . . . well, really, what could be more fun?!

That sounds incredible. And we miss you guys a lot.

Can you we come and visit this summer and go to a Bats game? We've been before with my sister and brother-in-law.

Also, you should check out minor league hockey. It's even crazier than the baseball.

I'm all about the jump shot with the purple bat! And minor league hockey is pretty fun... I've been to a couple games in Cincinnati... Something crazy usually happens!

Minor league baseball is a lot of fun, isn't it? Now that it has come to Southern Illinois, you'll have to check out a Miners game the next time you're in the area.

a miners game is on my to-do list.
isn't it funny that the miners moved into southern illinois as i moved out?
